By M-Pesa or bank transfer, from the fund's minimum. Your units are bought at that day's price.

After that, top up and withdraw when you choose.

  • Top up any time from KES 500, or USD 500 for Tau.
  • Withdraw through the portal, paid within 2 business days after any lock-in.
  • Track your balance in the portal, with a statement every month.

What documents do I need?

Your national ID or passport, your KRA PIN, and the bank account you want withdrawals paid to.

How do I pay in?

By M-Pesa or by bank transfer to the fund's account at I&M Bank, the custodian. The portal shows the reference to use.

Can I open an account for my chama or company?

Yes. Groups and companies apply with their registration documents and signatories. See chamas and groups or institutions.
