Who is Tradiam?
Tradiam Asset Managers Ltd is a Nairobi fund manager licensed by the Capital Markets Authority of Kenya. We manage unit trust funds, private portfolios and institutional mandates.
Who holds my money?
I&M Bank holds each fund's assets as custodian, apart from Tradiam's own money. Tradiam manages the investments but does not hold them.
What's the least I can invest?
KES 1,000 in Mfalme Money Market Fund, KES 2,000 in Wekeza Fixed Income Fund, or USD 2,500 in Tau Fixed Income Fund.
How do I open an account?
Online, through the investment portal, with your ID or passport, your KRA PIN and your bank details.
How do I pay in?
By M-Pesa or bank transfer to the fund's account at I&M Bank. The portal shows the reference to use.
How fast can I withdraw?
Within 2 business days of your request. Wekeza and Tau have a three-month lock-in first; Mfalme has none.
Are returns guaranteed?
No. Unit trusts are investments, not bank deposits, and their value can fall as well as rise.
What fees will I pay?
Mfalme has no entry or exit fee and a management fee of 2.0% a year. Wekeza and Tau charge a 0.5% entry fee, no exit fee, and 3.0% a year. Every fee is on the fund page before you invest.

What is the WSA Banking Index ETF?
An exchange traded fund tracking Kenya's listed banks, managed by Tradiam. It was approved by the CMA in August 2026 and is expected to list on the NSE in Q4 2026.
